Twitter and Facebook Caught CENSORING Hunter Biden Exposé
This afternoon, the journalism world was shaken after a New York Post editor tried to post his story on a Hunter Biden exposé to find it is being censored on Twitter and Facebook. When editor Sohrab Ahmari tried to share his news story on Twitter his story is being blocked saying this link is unsafe and shortly thereafter removing all tweets with this article in it. Twitter is even locking accounts of people who share this story to their timeline showing an obvious bias against this article. The reasoning I see for this is that it is being blocked for "distribution of hacked material" even though this material was seized by the FBI. This reasoning makes no sense because the material was not hacked it was taken by the FBI legally. This is the only reason I have found from Twitter staff on why this article is being blocked and why accounts are being blocked for. Is big tech going to censor any further material or will they take this backlash and right their wrongs? Only Twitter can tell us and they have been silent for the day so we can only wait and see.
Big social media companies work in weird ways, it could be purposely bing censored or a bug in the algorithm, Tiktok has similar with censoring or removing things that aren’t really that harmful. ~Taylor
ReplyDeletei agree with taylor, like on tiktok many videos are removed/censored about many things that are not harmful to the community & many other people dont understand why an un-harmful video will be labeled as "harmful" then soon be taken down.

They just don’t want to learn from their mistakes

I definitely think social media corporations can be extremely biased. Maybe them or somebody else do not want the information on the article to get to the public. - Vianka
ReplyDeleteAre there any updates now? It's a shame that twitter or any other social media platforms hide certain content away from their consumers.
ReplyDeleteIt is sad that many social media platforms do this. Especially when there are people who make their income off of social media. So if their content gets blocked/censored for no reason it can affect their source of income greatly.
